HELP FOR DEPRESSION
Millions of people are drepressed
each year, but depression isn't a normal part of life
The symptoims of depression can be different for each person.
What they have in common is that they can disrupt. Most people who have depression don't seek help for treatment that can
significantly help.
Women are more likely to get depressed than men. Perhaps hormonal changes play a role.
Men
are less likely than women to seek help for depression. They may show the common symptoms of depression but are more likely
to be angry and hostile. They are also more likely to abuse drugs or alcohol, possibly to self medicate. The risk for suicide
